Autumn//U life 作者 saria 日期 2008-9-11 8:23:00

Although classes just started in 3 days, I feel as if 3 months have passed since the beginning of my university life.

The temperature droped drastically after last Sunday's autumn rain which washed away all the dust along with the summer air. My clothing suddenly changed from shirts and shorts to long-sleeves and long pants.

Yes, that's right. Autumn is rushing in. The global temperture has changed dramatically especially in recent years. It has become more and more unpredictable than ever. Last year's winter seemed to be much longer than before. I hardly feel any presence of spring --- as if winter suddenly became summer in May. Even though I disfavour the torridity of summer, I still enjoy the liveliness of people and nature. Now, the leaves of trees are turing yellow, some are turing red. The cicadas no longer chant under the leaves of tall trees nor the roots of grass. Autumn is just a transition time period between summer and winter. However, everything will be different once winter comes. I can almost imagine myself stepping on the snow and walking on my way to attend my morning lectures, with "white clouds" breathing out from my mouth...

I wonder why everything is changing all the time. Even species change during the course of evolution. Maybe it's just how things behave, but just happens to lure out some people's curiosity of trying to figure out "why".

The pace has become so fast in univerisity. With every week passed, a chapter of lessons would be taught along with labs and tutorials scattering within the week. I wonder if I'd be able to keep up with such load starting next week when all the labs and tutorials would begin.

I know good luck charms or crossed fingers never work for me, so the only choice for me to survive is work hard and concentrate myself solely on my studies -- but maybe I'll through in some entertainment moments like writing on my blogs to relax myself a bit and have some fun too~
